I want to run

Today,

I want to run;

Run as hard as possible;

As fast as I can;

As far as my legs can take me.

I want to run

Away, far away,

Where reality doesn't follow me.

Yes I’m hungry!

I’m starving to death.

I have no energy left.

But still,

I want to run.

I have had enough,

I can’t endure any further.

The screeching pain is deafening.

It’s too loud to be neglected.

And before it eats me up,

I want to run.

The frustration will feed me,

The reality will repel me enough

To lend me the power

To crush the high boundaries

That separate reality and ecstasy.

Today,

I want to run.
